We had the pleasure of working with our fellow NYC wedding professionals on a Summer inspired "Bold and Bright" styled shoot!

We are so excited to introduce our latest project with (our first Featured Vendor) Love Ink.  "The Love Story Project" is a collection of Save the Dates, Wedding Invitations and Programs custom designed by yours truly and features love stories professionally written by  Love Ink.


Breakfast at Tiffany’s anyone?

Here is the “Tiffany & Co.” inspired Love Story Save the Date. This designs boasts luxury with its prominent Tiffany Blue, Black and White color scheme. One look at this elegent stationery piece followed by a heartfelt love story, will leave your guest in anticipation for your upcoming wedding nuptials.

The National Stationery Show 2011: "Paper Heaven"

Today I had the opportunity to attend the 2011 National Stationery Show in New York City. As a first time attendee, I must say that I was truly amazed with the works of various invitation designers as well as the products that were being offered by stationery suppliers. I honestly felt like I entered "Paper Heaven".

Along with meeting other invitation designers from all over the country, I was very grateful to have met with letterpress printers, paper, silk box and embellishment suppliers all under one roof.

I was most impressed with "The Paper Runway" which consisted of creative paper dresses designed by student fashion designers. I would love to wear one of these couture paper dresses at my next promotional photo shoot 8-).

In my opinion, every exhibitor brought their "A" game to this event from their marketing materials to the layout of their booths. Being a first time attendee, I was expecting a simple set-up similar to that of a Bridal Show. However, these exhibitor booths were "dressed to impress". Some booths resembled that of a warm cozy home and others resembled that of a High End Boutique...there were absolutely no blandness in walking down these aisles.

In the following months to come, I plan on taking my stationery to another level. Prepare to see beautiful designs and layouts, high end printing and finishes to my stationery pieces.

I do look forward to using all of the inspiration that I acquired today to produce work that is creative and unique for my clients. Please stay tuned for more event stationery tips, information and inspiration.

Embellishments: "The Earring Invitation"

Diamonds and pearls are truly a girl's best friend! Check out my latest invitation design: "The Earring Invitaton".

When I received this order, my main focus was to design an invitation that created a level of importance for this awesome shopping event. What better way to invite a guest to a jewelry party than with an invitation that resembled a box of earrings.

The invitation consist of three types of "earrings":: Diamonds, Pearls and Onyx with Topaz. These embellishments were mounted onto a Tiffany Blue Metallic Panel Card and then finally affixed to a white jewelry box.

My Super Sweet 16: “Zebra , Fuchsia and All Things Posh”

Planning a Sweet Sixteen? SWEEEET.........Let the fun begin! Turning sixteen is a major milestone for teenagers; some are able to gain employment and even their driver’s license. Similar to a woman that dreams about her wedding day the same goes for that preteen who daydreams about her sweet sixteen...."It is MY day and it must be perfect".
I am pretty sure they are thinking about their attire for the day, the guest list, the event theme and "16" other things. Sweet Sixteen celebrations can be simple and intimate or lavish and extravagant (Note: Have you seen the latest MTV "My Super Sweet Sixteen" episode).

Here is my latest invitation design and vision board.... what I would call "Zebra, Fuchsia and All Things Posh". What makes this invitation so unique is its bold hues mixed with the subtle black and white. The photo corners also created a 2-dimensional “pop-up” effect. This invitation will surely set the tone for any Sweet Sixteen celebration.
